do i need internet connection to use capture cards while im playing video games like xbox 360?

im not sure if i need internet to use capture cards. i havent bought a capture card but im thinking of buying one.

well technically no, but people generally get a capture card to capture online gameplay so if thats what you were planning on doing you would need it but only for your xbox, that cards itself i believe dont need an internet connection
