More and more people are purchasing Nintendo Wii because of the wide variety of Wii games currently available. The Nintendo Wii is a video game console which is a seventh generation console. The Nintendo Wii currently competes with Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3. As of December 31, 2008 the Nintendo Wii has sold more copies worldwide than the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. There is also a Classic Controller accessory that can be connected to the Wii Remote. This controller looks similar to the Super Nintendo controller. There is also the Wii Zapper that looks like a shotgun and the Wii Wheel which resembles a steering wheel. And of course, the Wii Motion Plus will be released soon.

 

The Wii Motion Plus is an expansion device that connects to the bottom of the Wii Remote. The Wii Motion Plus allows the video game system to capture complex motion more accurately. There are many Wii games that will be compatible with the Wii Motion Plus including Wii Sports Resort. The Wii Motion Plus and the Wii Sports Resort as scheduled to be released sometime around the same time. The Wii Sports Resort is the sequel to the extremely popular Wii Sports. The Wii Sports Resort game is set on the same island that the Wii Fit game was set on.

 

The player runs around the island while playing the Wii Sports Resort and there are a number of games available for players to play. Players can play a number of games including jet skiing, Frisbee, kendo, golf and table tennis. It has been said that there will be a total of ten different games in the final version of the game. The Wii Sports Resort will be bundled with the Wii Motion Plus. This is just one of the many Wii games that will be compatible with the Wii Motion Plus. This particular add on is supposed to be released in June of 2009.
