wifi internet ???

hi im a tourist in London staying in an hotel somewhere near oxford street in London the wifi connection provided at the hotel simply sucks ..many services are blocked and speed is very low …is there some solution i can buy which provides high speed wireless internet access which i can use at my hotel or in a near by place without having to use a phone and can i use this solution directly as I’m leaving within 4 days ???? thanks for any answers
