When shopping for a new barbecue grill, a Ducane grill is definitely one of the best choices you can make. The company was launched in 1946 as Ducane Brothers Metal Fabricating. 1. Stainless steel parts.

Stainless steel is an excellent material for the exterior of barbecue grills. When only one item is made of high quality stainless it is generally the grill burner. Other times, the entire grill is encased in stainless steel. In order to prevent rusting, corrosion or any staining, by using stainless steel, you will be adding years to the lifetime of your grill and parts. Good stainless has chemicals added during smelting for outdoor use but cheaper grades of stainless steel that are not good for outdoor use cannot be recognized by looking at them and get used by lower end barbeque grill manufacturers trying to look like higher end grills! Not only barbecues but commodities of all kinds are made cheaply when sent overseas. A low grade stainless steel on an outdoor bbq grill can often corrode faster than normal steel or cast iron and will certainly corrode quicker than a cast aluminum. While cheaper to buy replacement grill parts could make the barbecue more expensive a year later.

2. Warm up grid.

This is a crucial feature if you’re grilling for a small army, or have a gap between cooking and serving tasty foods. The warming rack is positioned perfectly so the food that you’ve already grilled will stay warm, but won’t get overcooked. This is a must-have feature for anyone who does major grilling. While it’s another part that you might need to replace, it’s certainly a worthwhile component.

3. Burners.

If you want the convenience of using your barbecue grill to do other types of cooking besides grilling, then choose a grill with burners. The design of the bbq grill parts and the materials used affect how often the grill will need replacement parts. Less expensive grills use cheap material for the burners instead of American stainless steel. The number of burners can differ, though they typically range from 2-4. 4. Grid.
