Build Usb Wi-Fi Antenna

You often feel tired of those poor or intermittent wireless signals and can only detect one or two networks. You can try to build a powerful USB Wi-Fi antenna and it will boost your Wi-Fi detection range. By following the steps that are given below you can build a USB Wi-Fi antenna and use your Internet connection easily.

Firstly just purchase a USB Wi-Fi adapter from your local computer hardware store. You can expect its price around $40. After you purchase it, install it on your computer by following the on-screen set-up instructions.

Secondly just try to find or buy an old metal object that is rounded such as a can or a bowl. In it cut a hole which will allow the USB adapter to fit tightly within it. After this all you have to do is just push your USB adapter halfway through the hole so that it does not slide out. Just try to connect the USB extension cable from the computer to your adapter.

Remember to hang your “antenna” so that the adapter and the antenna are facing out the window especially towards where it will find more signals. You can now search for it and connect to the wireless networks by right-clicking on the wireless icon in the taskbar and by selecting “View Available Wireless Networks.”

Then just check the N Plug on your antenna as here your coaxial TV cable will connect. Always make sure that you carefully waterproof the connection. Try to use your coaxial seal and then tape everything up securely with the electrical tape and then cover it. Now you will be able to receive the signals for your Wi-Fi network. Try to run any additional cables with the coaxial TV cable if you need to directly connect a device to your new Wi-Fi Antenna.
