Why Computer Freezes On Startup?

If your computer freezes on startup, you are not the only one suffering this problem. When you load your computer, it happens in the start making you wait longer time than usual. Sometimes you will even have to wait more after the stalled startup. With luck, the freezing can happen such that the computer does not operate right anymore.

When these errors are happening, the computer is informing you that there is something wrong going on within its operation or system. When your computer is being utilized for work-related matters and even for entertainment, those errors, which can be caused by different reasons, can be very annoying. So, do you know the possible reasons why computer freezes on startup and even longer than that?

Computer can freeze on different situations. They can occur whether on normal uses, after bootup, few programs are opened and used at the same time, or even when the computer highly powerful. When it is happening during your nomal activity, it can be held responsible to to registry and memory issues.

When there is not enough memory and the system processes are using too much of it while activities are going on, the computer also stalls. The computer undergoes stability issues when the CPU is using up above 10% of the memory. Adding more memory can solve this issue. Otherwise, you can attribute it to another issue, which is your registry, wherein the need to clean it is the solution to fix the stalling problem.

On another situation, when the booting up is taking up more than the normal 30 seconds after the initial loading, consolidating the computer’s startup programs can solve it. In order to do this, find Run under Start menu and type the word “misconfig’. If you uncheck many programs and replace them only with ones that you will have a use of and will not affect startup, this will speed up your computer.

If the computer is multitasking, meaning a lot of programs are opened and used at the same time, it can also affect the speed. The computer may be failing to handle the multitasking activities because there may be insufficient memory. Of course you need to add more memory; but if the computer is no longer able to hold more, you can resort to do the previous steps to free up spaces.

If your computer has powerful performance but still experiences freezes, this is not surprising at all. Even super powerful computers suffer from performance issues, so you do not have to worry. Slowdowns are being experienced because the computer may be under extreme load and it is using more than what its highly-advanced processor and gigantic RAM gigabytes can hold.

You can blame the failure to system and registry issues. In this case, it may be necessary to add more hardware or clean its registry. If the problem is the latter, you need to find a good registry cleaner to do the job. It is a practical investment since the tool can be used to address a variety of slowdown issues, such as when the computer freezes on startup. Obtaining it is no problem since you can download on the internet. Just remember getting the proper one for your computer.
