PS3 repair manual – Repair your PS3 console

Whenever a problem arises on the PS3 console most rush down to the store they bought it from and ask for it to be repaired or have it replaced. The tricky thing about this is it can take a very long time to get things done. Even though Sony have qualified technicians that can fix any PS3 error or failure that can occur the wait time and money spend can be very frustrating. What people are unaware of is alot of errors that pop up cna easlily be fixed it a PS3 repair guide. These guides show you step by step how to tackle problems known, they’re easy to follow and you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to use one.

As I mentioned earlier some PS3 problems can be fixed by just adjusting the settings on your console. One annoying error that gamers are experiencing is the PS3 hdmi problem, this can easily fixed by simpily checking whether the HDMI inputs are plugged in the correct slots allocated for this display. A PS3 repair guide will take you by the hand and tell you exactly what tasks you need to do.

HDMI cables use only one type of input to your tv or PS3 so its basically impossible to plug the cable into the wrong slot. So after you set your tv to the display the proper input signal be sure you check if the high definition cable is where its suppose to be. One advantage of hdmi is that audio and display are both carried on the same cable making it more efficient.

However if you using the traditonal RCA composite cables there’s greater chance of misplacing the cables in the wrong input connections. Being component there are three inputs – audio, which is one red and one white (R/L) and a video cable usually yellow. All use the same type of input into your tv so its easy to plug either cable in the wrong slot. If one of these is in the wrong socket no video or audio can be transmitted.

Another quick solution that works is resetting the internal video settings of the PS3 if there’s still no display to the tv screen. This is a common reason why no video is display on most TV’s. Your console has multiple display settings that are compatble with most modern televisions and just by making a few adjustments can go along way to fixing the display dilema.

To demonstrate how to reset your display for the tv, switch off your console at the power button, wait for 10-12 seconds while leaving your finger on the power and it will automatically roll back to the default resolution (480p). All televisions support this display so to play it safe you can run it that is display setting to fix the PS3 hdmi error.

There’s a wealth of information to be found on the internet and when doing a quick search online you’ll discover PS3 repair guides that can teach you how to combat any technical issue that can occuer on your Playstation console. A manual of this sort can save lots of time and frustration , there’s nothing more annoying than waiting for weeks, months to have your console repaired.
