Webcam problems Microsoft LifeCam Cinema (Part Number: H5D-00001)?

I have a Microsoft LifeCam Cinema (Part Number: H5D-00001) and it worked for a little bit after I got it. Formatted computer same OS (Win7) and now does not work. I have tried two IM programs, but all it does is show static. I know the cam still works because I can hook it to my sons computer and works. It works with Win7 and I have tried to un-installed drivers and reinstall them. When I first found the problem I did not have computer set up so I formated again not fixed. Does anyone know how to fix this or having same issue. Thanks
