What is PPTP VPN?

Point-to-Point-Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) is a networking technology that supports virtual private networks (VPN), enabling remote users to access corporate networks securely. 1. Press the “Start” button and choose “Control Panel” from the menu.
2. In the “Control Panel” window choose “View network status and tasks”.
3. Choose “Set up a new connection or network”.
4. In the next “Connect to a Network” window choose “Connect to a workplace” and click Next.
5. In the “Connect to a workplace” window choose the “Use my Internet connection (VPN)” option. Click Next.
6. If you are not connected to the Internet at the moment, you’ll be offered to connect. Connect to the Internet.
7. Enter the VPN server IP or domain in the “Internet address” field, and My VPN as “Destination name”.
8. Now type the login and password provided by the VPN service provider and click “Connect”.
9. Congratulations! You computer is connected to the VPN server!
