Whether it’s for people who love cats, or people who have six toes – there’s a list. This is the most expensive way to market online, but it is very targeted and it gets results.

Some businesses opt to publish their own newsletter that consumers subscribe to. These are also referred to as an ezine. Only subscribers receive the newsletter that can inform them of discounts, new products, or anything having to do with the business. Some newsletters and ezines allow other businesses to advertise in them, thus generating some additional income.

So, when looking for a single email for a friend, use a fast email address search. When looking for hundreds or thousands of potential customers for a business, hire a company to send mail to a targeted audience, or create a newsletter for the business. A targeted audience will result in higher website traffic for the business.
