can a new hdtv get wireless internet with a usb wireless adapter?
I doubt it.
Most USB connections on TVs are for media like pictures, etc. Only recently have manufacturers started putting in internet connectivity for streaming video. You can hook an adapter to a computer’s USB to run a wireless adapter on a computer, but that is because of the software running on that computer. I doubt the TV has that sort of functionality and if it were built in, the manual would say so.
