What is an internet connected HDTV?

I saw a few at Walmart and Best Buy. Just trying to figure out the difference between a normal HDTV and one that says Internet Connected HDTV?? Are they wireless internet ready? WHAT IS IT??

Internet connected means you will be able to access specific streaming content. Ex- Netflix, Youtube, Vudu, Pandora etc. Some companies have TV’s with Wi-Fi inside whilst others may require you to purchase their respective wireless adapter.
