Best webcam software for a presentation to my class?

Hi,

First, at this time, I don’t think any Microsoft webcam has actual optical “zoom”. Sorry. Some software may allow to crop and focus the image, providing a fake digital zoom, this may hinder the image quality.

About the annoying auto-focus, you need to adjust this in the LifeCam software, not in the software you’ll use for the projection. New Microsoft Lifecams have a feature called “True Color”. For some reason, this feature needs to be deactivated in the Lifecam software, this will allow access to some advanced features. Check out this short video for instructions:

Finally, here is a free tool that can connect to the webcam, and Display full screen:

Go to menu Video to select the webcam, then go to menu Option to enable “Video Preview”, then Option menu again to set to full screen (or click on the Maximize button).
