varies on the place (IE El Paso vs. Some small place). normally they give you the modem (if you buy or rent it), the cables to plug your computer into the modem and the modem into the wall. an a snazzy little CD with worthless software that will tear up your computer because they think most consumers won’t realize their stuff slowing down (really it try’s to tweak some services/file and print sharing/error reporting). You don’t have to install the software. Just make sure that your MAC address of the modem is registered with them and if you go for the digital cable you will also have to make sure you call that 1800 # on it for them to shoot the box a signal to increase the db (gain) for you to get the right channels.
