Should my new laptop be a mac or a pc ?

I have had my current laptop since november 2007 its a great laptop but i really want to get a new one it has some pretty good specs: 1.7Ghz AMDx2, would like a mac because they seem to be so good and i had my mind set on the macbook for £829 it has: 2.4Ghz Dual Core Intel, 2GB ram, 160GB hard drive, wireless, bluetooth and 0.3 megapixel webcam. But then i did something so silly as to go onto the dell site, well they are offering: 2.0Ghz Dual Core Intel, 3GB ram, 320GB hard drive, wireless, bluetooth and 2.0 megapixel camera. What should i do i mean we can all spot the better deal but is it worth paying an extra £140 for less features and if so why ?
By the way the main things i will be using the laptop for it video conferencing so a built in cam will be necessary, itunes which works great on mac and windows and internet brousing. and i want atleast 2gb of ram becuase i currently have 1gb and its not engough.

i am partial toward pc’s because i just do not like the way mac

but i have to say, with my parents having a mac, i have never had a virus or spyware problem with it or any mac i’ve ever used, only with pc’s

so i say your best bet is to go with the mac
